Some email clients may not render the standard HTML messages as well as others. This is especially true of Outlook 2007, which uses the Word 2007 HTML rendering engine, and does not support many newer HTML standards. If you encounter trouble with HTML formatting in email messages generated from Astra Schedule, you may wish to change the system email formatting option to a different HTML version or to PDF attachments. The formatting option can be found in Reporting/Report Server Configuration. |
If notifications are not being sent from the system, it's possible that there is a problem with the Astra Schedule Task Agent. One of the first things to try is to use the upgrade Control Panel to simply reset the Task Agent. To do this, you will launch the Control Panel, click on the Task Agent link, click on "Modify Task Agent", and then go through the set up process but DO NOT change anything in the setup fields. This will reset the Task Agent using the existing settings.
