The analysis results data includes a list of courses where the demand is broken down by time group. This information is useful when deciding what actions to take, on which sections, and at what times. Supported by the meeting pattern group configuration, this analysis looks at the meeting patterns for sections in the historical data and assigns them to groups based on the configuration. The analysis process is then able to assign demand to each configured group as applicable. If the analysis data shows that there is a need to either reduce or add seats of a course, the time group analysis can help identify which sections, or which time slots, to address.
